And the higher your A1C is, the more complications, of course, that you have because of your diabetes.
And the current best belief we have with diabetes is that if you keep your A1C under control, you eliminate those complications of diabetes.
So it's hugely important.
It's everything we're here to do.
Our trial started with people with somewhat higher A1Cs and that was very much important to us because those are the people who historically have had a very hard time getting their A1C under control.
There are certain users with diabetes who
Honestly, they're going to do great regardless of what you give them.
You give them pens, they do great.
You give them a pump, they do great.
You give them AID, they do great because they're highly engaged in the management of their disease.
And then there's others who, for whatever reason, they're not bad people.
They're just busy or distracted or whatever it is.
And they put less time and effort into managing the disease and they have less success.
So the high point of our trial is that we were able to get people from a comparatively higher A1C down near goal as compared to some of the other ones that have been run in the past.
And yes, we've looked with our real world data at...
Engagement.
And it's really correlated the way you'd think.
What we found is that when you come to us with a higher A1C, in fact, you tend to do less on the islet.
And when you come to us with a lower A1C, you tend to do more on the islet.
Shocker that people who previously had better control are actually really engaged in their diabetes and willing to do more.
