You can't be, you know, in my case, I probably would have been, you know, too sheltered if I didn't have a father who was as, you know.
in some ways authoritarian, you know, in some ways, you know, tyrannical.
And anyone that worked with him as an actor can say that.
I mean, he had famous clashes with Val Kilmer, and Val was so funny, you know, he would tell me, because they reconciled.
On The Doors, he mentioned The Doors, so I was thinking about, you know.
He was incredible.
But they had a contentious, you know, relationship during that shoot.
And Val was a bit of a prima donna at that point.
And then, you know, years later, they reconciled on Alexander.
And Val was much... I don't know.
He seemed softer, sweeter.
And he was like, you know, on the doors, that's where...
i thought your dad was gonna punch me oh yeah one day just you know he was free he was uh my dad and he were so intense and they clashed in such a uh an energetic way um i think it was that you feel that energy come through in the film one of my all-time favorites and um
I think that's, you know, that's the way that I was raised, at least, was that it was immersive, right?
And, you know, I talk about this all the time with people.
We're not in a film culture anymore.
When we grew up, you know, it was, first of all, the 80s into like the early 90s.
I think this is still like the best time when it came to music and movies.
And we had all the, you know...
