So I just did a really quick Google search.
There are 26 Quran verses about lying.
And one of them, specifically, says that you can lie in the furtherance of Islam.
So you can say whatever you want to, as long as you're furthering Islam.
And so I heard something this week.
How can you take an oath of office on a book that tells you that it's okay to lie for the furtherance of your religion?
And I was like...
I've heard the thing about it, like lying in Islam.
I've heard that a couple of times these past couple of years.
But I never even thought about that when we were talking about them swearing in on them.
Well, it welcomes immigrants if you say that you're... Convert or die.
Yeah.
You know, I'm straight.
But we're Christian.
No.
So, I mean, I eat pork.
