It's not a good way to start off, you know, pitchers and catchers.
What, tomorrow?
Is that officially tomorrow, right?
Whatever it is.
And we got a real baseball game, you know, coming up just over a month away.
Five weeks away from us.
Five and a half weeks away from real baseball.
March 25th, March 26th.
And after a terrible season last year.
where you didn't make the postseason and kind of got embarrassed after the fans showed up.
You know, the owner called out the fans, show up, and then the owner promised you things are going to get better.
And I told you a World Series within five years.
Oops, my bad.
Didn't accomplish it.
And the first bit of news you get, you know, before the players officially show up, is that your second best player is now having hand surgery.
I'll tell you this, and I'm not blaming anybody for it.
It is what it is.
But it burns me to my innards when we have these stories where players, for some reason, wait and wait and wait to acknowledge that they've got some physical ailment and have it taken care of.
Now, I honestly do not know when, out of anyone who knows publicly, when Francisco Lindor might have broken that hammy bone.
And by the way, I thought the hammy bone was on the thumb side of the hand.
