PERMITTING REFORMS MEANS MAKE THESE ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN AIR, CLEAN WATER RULES AND OTHERS AND OTHER AGENCIES work together and work so that we are getting the right result of clean air and clean water, but we're able to move forward. It's 19 miles of waterways that has acid mine drainage. And West Virginia went about with coordination with the past Trump administration. And it was initially championed by the Biden administration to deliver real results in cleaning up this area of our state. It was a true win-win.

The Biden administration, for some reason, which we can't figure out, flip-flopped on this, and they just started putting more burdensome, costly, and a much, much slower cleanup process. environmental remediation and benefits. Will you commit to me, working with me in the state, to try to reverse these counterproductive changes and cut the red tape and restore this for more cost-effective, but also better environmental results?

Thank you. I understand that a five-minute break would be in our best interest. Would you like to do that now, or do you want to keep going?

So there is plenty of precedent for military members enforcing our southern border. Our U.S. military is not trained in law enforcement roles. I think you know that, right? We've seen how that mission is difficult for them in places like Iraq and Afghanistan because that's not the training a uniformed military comes with. Do you support the use of active duty military in supporting detention camps?

Do you have nondisclosure agreements with either of those organizations? Not that I'm aware of, Senator. Many of your work colleagues have said that you show up for work under the influence of alcohol or drunk. One of your colleagues said that you got drunk at an event at a bar and chanted, kill all Muslims. Another colleague, not anonymous, we have this, said that you took coworkers to a strip club. You were drunk. You tried to dance with strippers. You had to be held off the stage. And one of your employees in that bar event filed a sexual harassment charge as a result of it.
