But we're not the welfare provider for the world. And to be clear, why are we borrowing when we've got $36 trillion in debt? Why are we borrowing money from China to give it to other countries? That makes no sense.

And it is an interesting shift. Now, look, I will say one of the frustrating things about this meeting last week in the Oval is the meeting was there to sign an agreement, an agreement that had been negotiated ahead of time. And that agreement was an agreement where Ukraine would give the United States a substantial interest in its rare earth minerals and valuable resources to pay back Ukraine.
