That was the fear.

And again, if they get it right, it won't matter.

I remember talking to people at Arrowhead before he started playing, and I said, you know, a lot of people think he gave up too much, and he's a real risk, and the air raid offense, and bad footwork.

And the response looked me in the eye and said, if we get this right, no one will even remember what we gave up.

And that's what it's been.

And I think it'd be the same thing.

If they have gotten it right with the right people in place, no one will even remember that this happened.

It'll just be, yeah, that was the ground zero, and we began building from there.

And I'm with you, and it is encouraging what we've seen the last couple of matches.

You were part of the Players Association.

So you were in on the negotiations and the talks, and you knew the economic structure.

How much has the economics—and I know you're not in on that now—

But how worried are you that Kansas City can compete with the current economic structure?

Like, I'm all for the players making as much money as they can.

But this is unique.

I mean, you've got an uncapped portion of the roster, which allows those that really want to spend to really spend and go after a Lionel Messi or whoever.

And then you've got this other part of the roster that's capped.
