And I said, man, like the way you've represented the country.

There's buzz in Italy.

Most of the people were complaining that they were, you know, all American kids playing as Italian-Americans, but the fact that they took pride in it, they were still underdogs.

They were a bunch of guys that nobody had ever heard of when you look at the other rosters, right?

They did a wonderful job.

Those tournaments can be so electric.

I would have taken either one, but again, so cool to be able to participate and follow and be vested in what they did, which I think ultimately is all we really ask for as fans or as people that were helping build the game at some point.

So the fact that they got me to pay attention is really cool.

the manager of that team was my former teammate.

He was managing.

So in indie ball.

So, um, I've heard a lot of stories from guys, um,

this is going to sound like the most narcissistic ever, but I'm not going to say people have called me indie ball Jesus, which is weird.

It's a strange thing to have.

I don't know if it's worse than the bull Durham dubious honor of being the minor league home run champion or whatever.
