Richmond outworked them, ran across the ground.

Essendon couldn't run with them.

And it's just a lack of effort for me.

I was watching them just transitioning, getting to an opponent.

They're just letting guys run straight past them through work rate.

Yeah, they'll be disappointed.

But we've been very harsh on the Blues the last couple of years, Crawf.

And I think we've probably let Essendon off the hook a little bit.

But something needs to change there at the moment too because the messaging isn't getting through.

I do think they've got some talent on this list.

I think they've got some real talent.

But there's just something there that's just not working.

Whether it's a game plan, whether it's guys sticking to that, are there leaders –

Leading.

That's a real big question.

Are their leaders leading?

Right.

And for the young guys to follow them.

And that's the big question mark that needs to be asked of Essendon because supporters will be fuming.

And, you know, they've been really harsh on Essendon and their supporters.
