And, you know, when Dad was in, the only time I got questioned over whether comedy or humour belonged in a space, and we all know you've got to read the room,
My dad was in intensive care.
He had cancer of the esophagus.
And as everyone knows, if they find cancer in your letterbox, they take out the whole front lawn.
Yeah, that's just what they do.
And so they removed his stomach and everything.
And he was in intensive care.
The story's got a great end.
But he was in a very serious way when he was in intensive care.
And me and my brother Clay were there first.
We were waiting for my older sister Kim to arrive.
And so we were using humour then.
And every time the machine went ping, me and Clay go, oh, shit, it's run out of coins.
We'd be reaching in and trying to put a coin in and leaning into Dad saying, look, you know, Dad, look, we're not sure if you're going to pull through.
Things are looking pretty serious here.
And we're being told.
