My wife always says, why don't you wait until they feel that way so when they tell you they mean it?

I do it a lot, as it turns out.

She's like, I know you think she's going to tell you what you want to hear, but she's not.

You just want her to be happy.

That's a really good point.

So I've got to try and work on that.

I should say, how are you going in there?

But I'm saying, are you settling in well?

And of course she's like, no.

So anyway, I'll learn that soon, hopefully.

So she said, it's just really hard having to, at the end of every visit, David, my stepfather, has to leave and they don't get to sleep in a room together.

And that hit me.

That was literally walking through the door here, had me a bit fragile walking through the door because I'm like, oh, man, I just realised that imagine me and Fliss, like, you know, laying beside her at night is my –

Like I'm the car, she's the charger.

That's where I plug into her.

She's my Tesla charger.

Laying beside her with my eyes closed, not even awake, having her beside me resets me for the day.

Like it's just the truth.

So if I'm interstate, I fly home.

If I can be home for one night and I've got to fly up the next morning to go to another, I will fly home to lay beside my wife.
