I'm lost in thought because you've just said that out loud.

No one's asked me that.

They do and that's, you know, that divorce when I was four.

Like no one was getting divorced.

My mum was afraid to leave her house because of how that looked in the community.

Like there was no parent or carer.

That's what was on every comment when I was a kid at school and take this home to your mum and dad.

There was no mum and carer or stepfather.

It just didn't happen.

Kids thought it was – you know, I was born in 1970.

It's not that long ago, in my mind, but –

Seriously, it was different.

Like I couldn't tell you.

I remember there was one other kid at school that lived with one of his parents and that was a thing.

Like I was like, oh, okay, you know what goes on.

Yeah, it was people didn't quite get, what do you mean your dad's not in your house?

It was a thing.

So, yeah, the fact that I – and I've had other partners since.

But, yeah, it's so funny you ask that.
