Eight to one majority of the court did not think so.

A therapist out there in Colorado challenged this law when it was passed, saying, I need to be able to counsel clients for whatever services they're seeking.

So the court looked at this

finally decided eight to one in her favor, striking down that law in Colorado.

They said it's censoring speech based on viewpoint specific things.

It says the first amendment stands as a shield against any effort to enforce orthodoxy and thought or speech in this country.

It goes on to say, even if you have good intentions in this law, if you suppress speech based on a particular viewpoint, it just can't stand up.

We probably will get another round of opinions starting the week of March 23rd.

They're back at arguments, oral arguments then.

So

Listen, it's the court's world.

We're just living in it.

They can give these opinions anytime we want, but that's kind of my educated guess.

You're waiting on one really big one out of Louisiana that has to do with redistricting, with the Voting Rights Act, and you guys know we're tracking these states all over the country that are trying to do redistricting leading up to the midterm.

So if we get that decision on the earlier side, meaning March, April, and

uh rather than the later which would be the end of june it really does have the potential to impact a number of these states and what they're doing with redrawing these streets so um excuse me the district so i'm watching for that one we've got a couple that test the limits of executive power you know the president trying to dismiss a governor from the fed board and some other interesting ones that we're just kind of waiting on our nail-biting standby shannon i want to ask you about the book because i just went through the whole book thing and still going and congrats congrats thank you thank you um
