You need to get your ass up there.

So I sped up there, saw the police tape, saw the cops, saw the media, saw the crowd, sketched out, went back to work, went there later in the day when nobody was there.

There's blood on the doorstep.

I walk in.

Peter sat in the living room with a very poker-faced, grave-digger-looking kind of guy who I learned was a homicide detective.

After the homicide detective left, I asked Peter what had happened.

And he said, a couple had come over to buy crack.

but the Mexicans had moved back over the street.

So the female went to buy the crack.
