Assuming that this thing works really well, it's very cool.

Yeah, it looks like instead of snapping into where the mag catch would grab the magazine, it's got a friction lock.

There's a little lever that you push to squeeze the magazine or pinch it instead of locking into the notch.

But yeah, I thought this thing was really cool.

I could see this being super convenient if they did something like this for AR mags as a companion.

I'd be pretty into that as well.

That thing is amazing, but it's also pretty big and it's like an appliance.

And this is something that you could drop in your range bag and take to the range.
