Are we scared of sharks?
The majority, the vast majority of all shark species want nothing to do with us.
Um, they're, they've got very tiny mouths or can be bottom feeders or they're just not, you know, they're just as scared of us as we are of them.
Anytime you go into the ocean or nature in general, you have to respect the environment where you are and respect the organisms there.
And so, you know, it's always important to know what the, like what the threats are or they could be or the, what,
dangers there could be anytime you go so whenever i go diving in a new place i look up like what organisms could i possibly encounter and if you work with a good operator you go to areas that are safer right um but i always feel incredibly lucky every time i have the opportunity to see sharks anywhere they're beautiful they never you know they're doing their own thing they're
Swim over there.
Not disturbing me.
There are some shark species that might have a case of mistaken identity.
Like if we're swimming around a seal at the surface in white shark territory, they can't come up and poke you to see if you're food or not.
And the way their strategy for getting food is they don't have arms, right?
So they use their mouths to grab onto things.
So they'll come up and...
If you think you're a seal, try to take a bite.
But people aren't dying of being eaten.
You're not being eaten by a shark, right?
Unfortunately, it has to do with succumbing to a wound from that shark bite.
But not scared of sharks, and you shouldn't be either.
Yeah, unfortunately, microplastics.
So plastic, in general, is awful for the marine environment, right?
