I remember, and this is advanced, doing a basic, this is the intro mind map in my 10 steps to recruitment.
And then I perhaps, not now, but at the time, would do a second mind map, perhaps on the presentation.
because that would need to be expanded into how you were going to deliver that.
But what mind maps do is actually help you to see the bigger picture and focusing on just what the next steps are.
And when you look at a couple of words presenting interviews,
you start to think, oh, I need to be more specific.
I need to do things differently.
So why are mind maps so powerful?
Why does all of this work so well?
Because mind maps are very intentional.
They're very focused and they give you clarity.
I always used to think, oh, thank goodness I've got all of this information out of my head.
All the ideas, all the noise, and organise it in a way that makes sense.
Because when you immediately look at your page with that word in the middle, in less than 30 seconds, you can look at the keywords going round and immediately you know
And for the rest of the day, sometimes what I do is I do the 10 key points, whether it's recruitment, career, planning a presentation.
Recently, I've been planning new flagship programmes for my CEOs.
And I've got the words.
And I'll maybe leave it sitting and go and do something else.
I might even leave it overnight and then the next day I can look at it and immediately, because that's settled in my head, I can, I remember, here's a good example.
