Anyone could have signed Daniel Jones last offseason and they had a great offense until he got injured.
Hey, our team, we have a good roster.
We've got good offensive coaches.
Let's go find a talented quarterback who maybe hasn't succeeded elsewhere and maybe that guy
is Malik Willis.
So where are you at this?
You have a team in the Miami Dolphins that might need a quarterback.
Are you just going through every quarterback in the NFL?
Okay, I wasn't sure if you were just reading the list.
Yeah, the contract is very interesting because you mentioned it.
Justin Fields last offseason got two years, $40 million with $30 million guaranteed.
And it's different than Malik Willis because to your point, Justin Fields had kind of had a big body of work where there were some flashes, but statistically he was like terrible.
If you just kind of looked at it, it was like, no, this guy's not going to be able to turn his career around.
And the Jets were like, that's okay.
You know, we're going to him two years, $40 million with 30 million guaranteed.
Cause he ran around a little bit against air and Aaron Glenn defense once or twice.
So that's what he's going to do against every other team that didn't work out well.
But I do think that's the neighborhood we're talking about with Malik Willis is kind of in the twenties.
Um,
You know, it just kind of depends.
