David Coffin was a 41-year-old male who was full of life, very attractive, a lot of fun.
I think he's very smart, but he's impulsive.

The defendant is wealthy. and let's face it, he's wealthy and comes from a very good family here in Atlanta and that creates a whole new dynamic. It's a different dynamic because wealthy people have advantages that poor people do not have and they work the legal system.
Flames were shooting out of his roof 20 to 30 feet in the air. When they got the fire under control, they walked through once, found nothing, walked through the second time, and actually a firefighter stepped on the body of David Coffin. People who die from the fire, they're usually found on their stomachs because they're trying to crawl out of the house.
He was a competitive man who wasn't going to lose his wife to the likes of David Coffin. And he targeted the competition. He hunted his competition. He stalked his competition. And he ultimately killed him.
How important is Megan to this case? Megan is the motive. I think the case would have been very difficult without her. Sorry.
