But contextually, it was the beginning of September in New Orleans.
humidity was probably a hundred percent and it was so hot.
Even if you had a turbo AC on, it was the hottest place in the world.
So three bodies stuffed in a bed, you know, I, we were just totally sweating like crazy, but I was snug in the middle of them when we went to sleep.
And so I was trying to just fall asleep in the best way I could, but I felt like pretty protected.
I remember being like, I'd rather have them be kind of annoyed with me than go through that again.
So we go to sleep a few hours, I'd say goodbye.
And then, you know, push comes to shove.
My friend Brandy is like, girl, it is too hot in this bed.
I'm moving to the other bed.
So she moves to the scary bed, the one I had that experience.
I didn't really love that I had now a window, an open space for me to be haunted again, but I picked my battles, and at least I wasn't in the scary bed.
Anyway, we transition back into some sort of sleep.
Brandy's in the other bed by herself, and I'm going to say about an hour goes by, and me and Sarah, the whole room, is awoken by a shrill,
terrified scream like brandy is screaming for her life and we frantically find the light to turn it on and she's swatting at her ear like on her right side kind of like as if there's a spider or something on her face like kind of moving her hair out of the way but like trying to just like swat away something like something freaked her out in her ear and she's like oh my god oh my god and she collects herself to tell us that she just felt something moving around and whispering in her ear
