So he blew it up.

I mean, not intentionally, but we made a million dollars the first year.

And next thing I knew, the market crashed and he started paying our people, our employees out of

our personal savings, and I was totally complicit.

And we went bankrupt and we lost our, we had a magnificent home in Westport, Connecticut for the swimming pool.

And, you know, my mother called it

in her delightful way, the movie storehouse, with her New York accent, the movie storehouse.

And we lost the movie storehouse.

And we had to start all over.

But we realized that what was important to us, you know, in my book, Hitting the Wall, which is for entrepreneurs,

I talk about watering all the plants.

So if you had a lot of plants, you would never water just one.

Obviously, the rest would die.

And so he wanted to water his family plant and his relationship with me plant, as well as our career plant.

And we both wanted to make a difference.

And

We really wanted to do it with individuals at the time, not in corporations.

So we started over and we ended up moving to California because there are way more conscious people out here.

And we just built the business from there.

And we started doing trainings.
