And we weren't going to allow them to dictate.
We weren't going to be on the defensive anymore.
We took offensive posture and we went after these gangsters.
And when they committed crimes, we held them accountable.
And we literally just changed the dynamic on the reservation in a matter of years by just being aggressive and going after these.
And so that's one of the things, when you have the rule of law gets out of control,
It's not rocket science.
Uphold the law.
Hold people accountable.
If you do that, it will stabilize things.
But the longer you let it go, the harder it is to get it under control.
So in 2011, I just didn't like the direction of the country.
I thought they were undermining the rule of law.
And remember, the rule of law, to me, is the most important piece of America, stabilizing it.
And they know that, which is why they said they were going to fundamentally transform America.
What about him?
What they were doing was really creating a rift between communities and law enforcement.
Anytime we did something, and mind you, this is all kind of timing at the same time with people having cell phones and being able to record things on the streets.
This is all coming about, you know, iPhones are kind of coming out in the late 2000s, around 2010.
And so now you're seeing videos of police out there doing their job or roughing somebody up.
