Well, I personally feel that every other choice is made for men and they can freely enjoy most existing services while feeling safe and unbothered.

Like Thordis mentioned when talking about that tea app, of course men couldn't just let that be something for women to help them keep themselves safe.

They had to make their own app, Tea on Her, and make it into something it wasn't even intended for.

She said patriarchy always finds a way when women have invented something.

They made something for us to safeguard and protect us in a world where men are such a threat.

This was the first time I had ever heard the Margaret Atwood quote about men being afraid of women laughing at them and women being afraid men will kill them.

This really struck a chord with me.

Anyway, after listening, I felt much more confident that my efforts to create a space for women to feel comfortable is not only allowed, but necessary.
