186 breaking balls he has seen, batting average of 217, right?
And so if you're a pitcher and you have a breaking pitch right now, that's all you should be throwing Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
because he's really struggling with it right now.
People are going to... I defend Vladdy, I think, more than the average person, I would say.
I tend to take the positive side of most Vladdy conversations.
And I'll defend him when he's hitting, you know, like...
335, 340, whatever it might be.
Has an OPS in the high 800s or above 900, which it was for a good chunk of the year.
And is at least getting on base.
I've defended him a ton this year because of that, and I'll continue to do so.
But when that production dries up, it's a lot tougher to defend him.
And then on top of that, when there are other guys who are either injured or not producing as well.
You kind of get that double whammy.
And, look, he hasn't hit a double since April 28th.
He hasn't hit a home run since April 20th.
I don't think he's hit a home run at all at the Rogers Center.
I think both of those two home runs have come on the road.
Since he hit that double, so from April 29th to, I guess, May 9th, so not including today, entering play today, he had nine hits, two ribbies.
He did have, I think, five or six walks in there, but a batting average of .250, a slugging percentage of .250, and an OPS of .591, and then today he went 0 for .400.
