They were more athletic.
And if you look at the objective measures of...
like in the training room on the medical side, whether it's internal, external rotation, those kinds of things of the throwing shoulder, we were driving like real advances with that group.
And so that's, that's kind of my, my North star, right?
Is that,
Injuries suck, but injuries happen, right?
And oftentimes they're an opportunity to come back out ahead.
And then...
you see the guys that go through a rehab process on the playing side.
And a lot of times they're able to learn things about themselves, about their processes, about their habits and routines that are really going to drive success going forward.
So I hope that's the case for those guys that you mentioned.
And it's something that I want to continue to promote in terms of communication and feedback amongst our group.
Because I just really value the work that those guys on the staff do and want that to be celebrated.

The first one that comes to mind is my late college coach, Pete Wilk from Georgetown.
He had a real matter of fact way of...
of explaining the standards of what it looked like to be a successful baseball player and to play the game the right way.
The example I always use is he would coach third base and his sign for move the runner over was he would just kind of growl from third base, play the game.
And you were expected to know what that meant.
