I think it's important to know who you work for, right?

So I would only have stress to come up to write another book if I believed that I worked for my publisher, but I don't.

And I would only have stress about the amount of content creation I have to produce if I believed I worked for the algorithm, but I don't.

I work for the people who share this world with me.

I work for my friends.

I work for my family.

I work for the people who see the world the way I see it.

And I try and work very hard to live a life of service.

And the way I manage my social media is I say something that I think is additive.

I never pile on, because there's no point.

I'm very prescriptive that I will speak if I have something that I believe is additive.

And if I have nothing to say and I have nothing to write, then I'm going to say nothing and I'm going to write nothing.

And I think you have to know who your customer is and then be fiercely customer oriented.

And I use the word customer in quotes.

Like if you're a parent, your kids are your customer.
