Simo is sort of my nickname.

And as the recipient, I felt so grateful that she asked because she was willing to traverse some of the awkwardness or social faux pas of asking the question, even though we've known each other for a number of years, because she cared enough to get it right.

And as anyone who has sort of a Italian or harder to pronounce name out there will probably agree with, it means a lot when people try to get it right.

And I'm never judging someone for getting it wrong if they show a genuine interest in who I am as a person.

Maybe that's a good note to end on.
