And again, we go back to incentives.

Like I, you know, I work at a hedge fund.

This is like the polar opposite of the Irish government because every minute of my day, there is a profit and loss or, you know, there is accountability directly to the activities that I do, right?

So that's on the very far extreme in one direction.

And then you have the Irish government on the other side.

But like, it's the fact that they, it's out of their control.

And so there's no attempt to control it.

I imagine is most of that dysfunction, right?

I use the word nothingness a lot because I don't even know what other word to put in there.

Like, how do you describe something that doesn't exist?

It's really baffling.

So like I've worked with governments all over the world.

And in those governments, I have genuinely worked with some of the smartest people I've ever met.

I love working with governments.

I love what they do.

I love the responsibility that they have.

And yet in Ireland, the political class just do not have, well, firstly, the accountability, right?

But then going down to a kind of more, you know, getting into that.

So, for example, in the UK, UK delivery of infrastructure is a trained profession.

In Ireland, it's whoever turns up for the job.
