The old man and I have already said we're picking and choosing the games that we go to this year.
We've never done that, Gerard, never.
Since I was a child, we'd never questioned it.
But we've questioned it because we're like, where is this club at?
I'm coaching now, Gerard.
I'm a football coach myself at local level.
And I understand it's a tough gig.
But at the end of the day, it's a winning-losing position that you've got to put yourself in.
If you're not winning games and you're continually losing, your job is going to be up for debate, as I've said.
And I put my coaching ahead of Carlton.
I'm putting my family ahead of Carlton now.
I've never done that.
But we're doing it now because this club is bringing nothing but torture to us.
It's not fun losing.
It's not fun at all.
And on the weekend against Brisbane, I sat there in the second half going, what has changed from that first half to the second half?
And I clearly saw it as a coach myself that the shackles had been released and these players were able to play with freedom.
And I have a question for anyone out there in the football world.
Why did it take Voss that long to understand that
that maybe the shackles should have been released sooner rather than later.
