Then I just played it really cool and did it right back for the longest 40 minutes of my life.

And I was like, yes, you can have my phone number.

The rest is sort of history.

My mind, at the time, people didn't know who the next lot of judges were going to be.

And so I'd heard some rumours, but I didn't know for sure.

And then they told me it was something else, something very vague, because it was top secret.

It couldn't be leaked.

I'd signed NDAs and bits and pieces, even though they gave me some fake name of a show.

But it was very cryptic.

Oh, wow.

There's a show.

It's overseas as well.

It's established, but they made it specifically sound not like MasterChef until they decided that I was legit.

Yeah, I did a few of those.

So I had just a little, it was essentially a cook with bench visits, I would call it.

And at this point I'm like, feels pretty MasterChef-y, but didn't want to, you know, jump ahead or anything.

I'm counting down from 10 very loudly.

It seems.
