The most important thing is I'm from California.

I went to UC Berkeley and then ended up in Richmond, Virginia for work.

But now I'm back on the West Coast for the startup.

That is accurate.

So I was a junior at UC Berkeley looking for a summer internship.

And this was right around the financial crisis of 2008.

It was really hard to find positions.

A lot of firms had cut back, so very few were hiring.

So I ended up doing an internship with Altria, and I loved it.

I got a lot of great experience.

So from there, I got a full-time offer to come on board after graduation, and the rest is kind of history from there.

Yeah, I left in July 2015, so a few months ago.

So I've been a cat owner all my life.

And in January of this year, my cat of 17 years, Miss Lily, she passed away.

And while I was working for Altria, I traveled quite frequently.

Um, I was probably gone for up to two to three weeks every month.

So she was at home alone all the time.
