What Susan doesn't know is that I followed the other friends who were there.
She proceeded to post a picture of three boys sitting together.
Her boyfriend, Susan's boyfriend, and Gollum.
I felt sick to my stomach.
I am in such a happy relationship now, which highlights how poorly I was treated by Gollum.
So this isn't because I have any remaining feelings for him.
It's because if Susan killed someone, I'd take the blame for her and all my other friends hold the same loyalty to me.
It hurts because my number one girlie prioritized a night out with Helen and Gollum and didn't even tell me.
She's been trying to reach out, see if I'm okay in general, but I don't know what on earth to say.
If I confront her, she will get defensive and call me childish, which I know is ridiculous as my feelings are very real and she has never acknowledged my feelings in this situation.
I can't beg for loyalty as that ultimately feels manufactured and I'm completely lost on what to do.
I don't want to lose her as a friend, but as I get older, my morals are in a better place than they were when we were younger.
And as it stands, she has no idea that I know and I've been slightly ignoring her messages.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
That's the real shame of the whole situation, isn't it?
you know, I'd like to think that your best friend, Susan was sat there being like, I really shouldn't be here.
Like, this is kind of awkward now.
Like you've showed up and like, Oh, this is really uncomfortable.
I would like to think, and she's in a bit of a sticky situation where it's like, it's Helen's birthday.
Now I'm here for Helen.
