I always had this thing with partners that I want to save you, like I'll look after you.

Right.

You know, I was in a long-term relationship with someone who did not financially contribute to one thing.

I funded this person's life for years and I look back and go, you idiot.

But I wanted to be that person.

And I'll look after you.

With meeting Maddie, I've been like, wow, you have your own stuff or we can do this together.

because someone actually is contributing not just money, energy, time, commitment.

It's half-half.

It's 50-50.

But initially what happened with Maddie was, yeah, I was being treated very poorly again.

And as a friend, she just pulled me aside alongside other friends.

But Maddie was obviously, I was just drawn to her.

I can't explain it.

It was like, you deserve more.

Like, I've also got to know you and you are an incredible person.

You are an incredible mother.

And I can't

what should be treated like this anymore.

And it's kind of in that moment I'm like, I think you love me.
