I had to split it, which was actually new for me if you listen to last month's episode.
I found it really interesting having to kind of hyper focus a little bit on my accounts this month.
especially because you didn't used to look at them no I didn't used to look at them and honestly there's a part of me that's like I wish I wasn't looking at them so much still but it was really interesting to see that honestly I had I had a lot more money left over that I could put into surplus and um my emergency fund which didn't exist uh before my extra credit there was like
My needs were actually smaller.
I think I was lumping a lot of my needs and wants together before I did this.
Yeah, which had a lot of people do that.
And now I realize, okay, your needs here and your wants here.
And actually I spend quite a lot on my wants.
But something that was good was, like, it didn't make me feel guilty.
It just made me, like, be more aware of, like, okay, needs.
This is how much you need to put in your emergency fund to, like, cover that for a few months or whatever.
Once you actually spend quite a bit.
I've budgeted for this.
