And Matthew Wiley is on the line.
Matthew, what happened on Wednesday night?
Was anything else stolen or was it just the violin?
Yeah, Ray-Bans are a nice pair of sunglasses, but I assume, I don't know much about violins, but I assume the price pales in comparison to your violin, does it?
Okay.
Did it take much effort to save up to buy it?
Was there a specific violin that you were saving up for or a specific type or from a specific maker?
And, I mean, if somebody steals an expensive violin like this, like the type that's used by someone like yourself in the National Symphony Orchestra, I mean, do they tend to end up on done deal or adverts?
You know what I mean?
I'm not picking on them.
Any kind of resale website online or what happens then?
Okay so what's then for people listening what's distinguishing about your violin or the case or the Bose or anything that was with it that they might look out for?
If that helps, you know.
Well, listen, if it helps at all, people out there will keep an eye out for those things.
If they're in the market for a violin and they happen to be on any sites and they see this, they'll know whose violin that actually is.
You mentioned the man who made the violin, Mick de Hoog, who's on the line as well.
Mick, you're welcome to the show.
Is it distressing when you hear about one of your violins having been stolen like that?
How long does it take to make each violin, Mick?
So, I mean, with that type of output, would you have a good idea of where all of your violins are?
