But I hear talk that City Hall is in the pocket of big business and developers, which never bodes well for the people.
Then again, I've also heard the New Orleans Mafia, no disrespect to the proprietors here, are the ones that keep the peace and things running, especially in the quarter.
But also, word is, the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club have inspired many like-minded folks to great community efforts.
