It's like you can't, you know, you can't turn on something automatically and just assume that you're going to be okay.
So readiness for retirement is also, I think, important.
Barry, you alluded to the idea of volunteering.
So I volunteer at Methodist Hospital and it's really interesting.
They asked us a bunch of different questions and most of the volunteers at Methodist Hospital in Park Nicollet are adults, okay?
And most of them are over the age of 60 years old, okay?
I think it defines connection differently.
So like, you know, Clarence and Barry, obviously I knew you as colleagues, you know, when we were all quote working.
But our connection now with, you know, between us and even our, our colleagues is different.
So I keep in contact with my colleagues that I, that I nurtured and networked with over the years.
but it's a different connection now.
Now it's a connection, oh, geez, you know, Jim, we should get together for a cup of coffee, okay?
So it's different where the conversation is about kind of life things as opposed to work-related things, all right?
all of a sudden you decide to retire and you're put into this kind of category of retirement.
And it can be lonely because it's you determining, you health-wise, determining what you need to do going forward.
So that could be a lonely enterprise for some people.
