But Toy Story is actually a very interesting franchise because as we know, my brain is full of fun, silly pop culture facts.
I don't know where my birth certificate is, but I can tell you all about Toy Story.
So let's rewind back to 1995, which is when the first Toy Story film was released.
Did you know this was the first fully computer animated feature film ever?
Yeah.
So that is massive.
So we had little bits of computer animation in things like Tron and other films, but Toy Story was really revolutionary in that sense.
And it's funny when you go back and you look at the animation because...
It looks a bit chopped.

Yeah, love that.
Okay, so then we fast forward to Toy Story 2.
So the first Toy Story was incredibly successful by all feeds.
Amazing story, really cool animation.
And then we get to Toy Story 2, and this was in a really interesting era for Disney because they just come out of the Renaissance era, which is where things like Beauty and the Beast...
Little Mermaid, all these really, really successful films were happening and then they were doing direct-to-video sequels.
So remember when we were kids, like you could buy Cinderella 2 or Little Mermaid, all these random videos where the story... Not too much of Little Mermaid 2 now.
