You're reminding me of a story that I just heard about there was a woman in line to pay for I think it was gas and she didn't have quite enough.
She was a couple bucks short and she was really upset about it and the guy behind her
you know, said something and she cussed at him and was really rude and stormed out of the store.
And then he said, I'm going to pay for her gas.
And the guy behind her goes, dude, why are you doing that?
She was like, not nice to you at all.
And he said, because I was taught to always smile and to always be kind.
And when they came out of the store, this woman came running up to them, apologized to the guy, cried her eyes out.
She had lost her job.
She was trying to make a payment so she didn't lose electricity or whatever it was.
And she couldn't afford the gas and how grateful she was and how much better that man felt.
You know, because he said, see, and he looked at the other guy and he said, you never know what someone's going through.
And he felt so good about that money.
That's so interesting.
Another lesson I was taught is never judge anyone based on what other people tell you.
It's only your own experience with that person.
And that's what I try to do.
