But actually finding Kahn Behring was another matter, even though he was emailing Stephanie regularly.

His pose to you is that he's in contact with her, but he doesn't know where she is.

Yes.

Throughout the months she was gone, I would hear from him saying, oh, well, I heard from her and she's in California.

Or she's going across the states to the north.

It would just be a continual game with him.

Klinger still doubted a 14-year-old with no passport could have made it out of the country.

But soon, the emails changed.

Behring was implying now that Lindsay was with him.

I wouldn't put anything past him or anyone involved with him.
