But most of these emails were obsessively tracking Trump's ascent to the presidency from 2015 to 2018.

Those three email changes that Democrats initially released, there's also another dozen or so pages they've highlighted online.

They include the disgraced financier Epstein discussing Trump.

In 2011, Epstein emailed Ghislaine Maxwell, his associate who has been convicted on trafficking charges.

called Trump the, quote, dog that hasn't barked, and says Trump spent hours at his house with one of the alleged sex trafficking victims.

There's a 2015 thread with author Michael Wolff that saw Wolff suggest Epstein could get, quote, valuable PR and political currency if Trump denied being on Epstein's plane or at his house, and a 2019 exchange that saw Epstein say that, quote, of course Trump knew about the girls as he asked Elaine to stop.

That email does not elaborate further.

The three emails appear to show more of a connection between the president and Epstein, including a message from Epstein that said Trump, quote, "...knew about the girls," and another that said Trump spent hours at Epstein's house with a sex trafficking victim.

White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt sent a statement to NPR that reads in part, quote, These stories are nothing more than bad faith efforts to distract from President Trump's historic accomplishments.

This as the House is set to vote on a bill to reopen the government and will have enough members to advance a measure to release more Epstein files.

These new Epstein emails appear to reveal more connections to the disgraced financier.

It's part of a 23,000 document release turned over from Epstein's estate to the House Oversight Committee.

There's a 2015 email thread between Epstein and author Michael Wolff where the pair discuss a potential question from an upcoming CNN interview with Trump.

A section from Wolf reads in part, quote, I think you should let him hang himself.

If he says he hasn't been on the plane or to the house, then that gives you a valuable PR and political currency, end quote.
