So I would say this is more like the end of World War II in a sense that we've done something very significant.
It's not over.
But in terms of what we've been able to demonstrate is really, really unprecedented in terms of the ability of our military to systematically โ
bring a nation to come to a negotiating table like this in just less than five weeks.
So I think that's what history will see.
And President Trump's aware of this, you know, impact from China and the impact on China.
He's put out today, he said, I'm putting a 50 percent tariff on any arms suppliers to Iran.
And that's important because in the last six weeks, China has supplied sodium percolate, which is used to build ballistic missiles, on a number of the five
IRISL ships, Iranian ships, Revolutionary Guard supply ships that have come in over the course of the last six weeks.
So he's saying now, if you do this, China, you're going to lose 50 percent of your trade with the United States.
So this is well thought out and he's aware of what's going on.
And so I think the message is we're going to dominate this area.
We have dominated it.
We're going to open it up.
One of the tests will clearly be, will this trade open without this $1 or $2 million fee that the Iranians are somehow trying to claim that they're taking?
Oman's already come out in the last four hours and said, we will not pay anything.
So this is kind of significant.
And I think the rest of the world, based on the United Nations Conventional Law of the Sea, there's going to be a lot of pushback internationally to say, hey, we're not going to pay the transit through an international waterway.
And
The test will be if that's allowed to happen.
