It's shown on the state broadcast of the World Championships and stuff like that.
It's a really captivating audience over there, and it's seen as where the sport is going to grow.
Yeah, half a million pounds from his victory on Monday, but I'm just looking at the one-year rankings.
Snooker measured these world rankings based on prize money.
He's won 860 grand over the past year, so he's nearly a millionaire from just playing Snooker at the age of 22.
It's not a bad life for him.
Yeah, well, I mean, first of all, I think that the players seem to embrace it.
It is where the sport is growing.
This is a sport you've got to bear in mind.
Again, I don't know how many of the listeners have watched Snooker recently, but if they watched it 20 or 30 years ago, it's the same names.

a sport that's traditionally been based around you know ireland the uk but yeah they're really really embracing them but the other thing about these guys very well is that like you should see the way they play like they're they're absolutely fearless you know they take on these like really long pots it's a very very attacking game you know snooker is obviously fascinating when it kind of gets into the nitty-gritty of you know the the play that's named after the sport you know snooker you know these safety shots in defensive play and it is fascinating but you know that that texture said to you know that was one of the best ones ever part of that because you had two really attacking players and
I think these Chinese guys, you know, at the forefront of that, like I said, they're absolutely fearless.
They just go for all these long shots and they're really, really great to watch.
He's absolutely brilliant.
I think there's a guy, Hossein Vafai, who he beat in the quarterfinals.
