And I was just like, okay, this is interesting.

Like, what do these two mean to each other?

And it's like, if you take something like Obi-Wan in the Obi-Wan show, which was Lone Wolf and Cub.

To me, him and the Princess Leia shit, I didn't really learn anything new about them as characters.

It didn't reveal anything.

Where it's like the chemistry between Dunk and Neg in this, I'm like, oh, okay.

And they're only like a couple scenes together.

What I think is interesting is like when the Mandalorian pops off, I think the thing that made that Lone Wolf and Cubs super interesting is that it's a celebration of the nostalgia of the world.

You're like, oh, this is a Mandalorian and a Jedi.

Instead of it being an old Yoda, it's a young Yoda.

Instead of being a dirty fucking Mandalorian or like Mandalorian armor like Boba Fett, it's something sleek.

It is playing upon...

our love for this universe and the textures and the visuals of it and mish-mashing it in this scrapbook type of way.

And you're like, this is new, this is fun, this is great.

For this type of story, for this dunk and this egg, I'm like, whether you know a lot about Game of Thrones or not, they have such a chemistry because you're just like, oh, they are opposites.

In all the ways there are opposites, but what was magical is like Egg notices something in Dunk that he's just like, there's something about this guy, even though he's massive and tall and a little simple, where it's like, that's what I've been searching for in my journey as a kid.

This is what I've heard about knights.

I want to do this for him.
