When Disney buys Star Wars,
George Lucas gets all that money because it's like, hey, yo, this was his property.
They're buying it from him.
But it's also a level of like, this is ours now.
We're not asking you for permission and we're not asking for- It's $4 billion.
At the time, he was okay with that.
So my question though, if you're reading in between the lines, I think it's less knowing better, knowing the world better than he does.

That makes sense.
