This is a rebellion by highbrow film fans against movies that they don't enjoy taking over their space.

And I get that.

This is the people that say, hey, get that mumble rap out of here.

This would like, one battle after another,

winning Best Picture and sweeping the Oscars that's like right now for me if Nas sold 10 million records I would be like shit the real shit is back like the the shit that actually has prestige and pushes this this genre forward is back now you can say that of course you can say that that is that or whatever right

But they felt like they were held hostage by people in capes for 10, 15 years.

Hey, the real thing is, the real thing is,

They busting our ass, and they really never stopped.

Like, if it's us, if it's the fan bros versus the film bros, we was never really up.

It only felt like we was up, right?

Because we was up in terms of the box office.

Yeah, but, like, they had the Oscars every year.

They had the Oscars.

And we put some fear in them sometimes, right?

Black Panther.

Black Panther put a little fear in them.

We nominated for Best Picture.

The Dark Knight put a little fear in them.

But that was actually... The film bros kind of co-opted that a little bit.
