I also had a few replies stating as fact, West Brom won't go down, too good to go down, they'll get a new manager, this, that and the other.
And they did get a new manager.
I think the manager they had at that time was actually sacked a couple of days later.
They've changed again since.
But they're right in it as well.
And we saw, you know, they look at him really short on confidence.
They did it at Fratton Park.
yeah they just didn't look up for the fight at all I noticed that they did get what was probably a decent point at Birmingham this week so that might have given them a little lift but they're certainly in it Blackburn below us and they're certainly in it they've had a change of manager I hear they're talking about or thinking about appointing Michael O'Neill the Northern Ireland manager and allowing him to carry on managing Northern Ireland as well not sure how that would work but that's an interesting one but they're right in it
and then you look at the sides not that far above us Norwich, Sheffield United, Charlton Charlton unfortunately had a good win this midweek beat Stoke but Oxford you would think probably after Sheffield Wednesday's second favourites to go down they're a little bit adrift and they've never quite managed to catch up with the little group that we're in have they so you would think that Oxford
Probably would be one of those sides to go down.
But even then, if they could get two straight wins from somewhere, they'd be back up in that group.
But I think anyone up to Pompeo currently 20th, as we speak now, one point above the relegation zone.
I still think anyone up to about Norwich in 16th could...
you know, if they have a bad run at the wrong time, could get sucked into it.
And, you know, you look at the size of those clubs, you've got Norwich, Sheffield United, West Brom, Leicester and Blackburn all in that fight, plus a couple of others, including us.
And those are all big clubs that you just wouldn't have expected to be down there, would you?
So it shows how competitive the division is, I suppose, doesn't it?
Some big clubs struggling to keep their heads above water.
