So if we've added a couple of six foot four defenders, I think that's great.

They'll be there to get us stuck into the battle that I'm sure is ahead in the final few months.

We've suddenly now got quite a few defenders again, haven't we?

I know we've got three injured.

But we've got some options at the back, even with those three injured.

And that's, I think, what the manager needed to make sure he achieved in January, especially with McIntyre going the other way.

That's one less in the building, as they call it.

So, yeah, got some good options at the back.

Another one who was not in the rumour mills, was he, really, as far as I could tell.

Yeah, interesting proposition.

He's been around a little bit without setting the world alight.

He's played at Stoke, he's been at Luton for some time, played for Luton in their brief stay in the Premier League a few times.

You know, on the face of it, signing somebody from Luton

who have gone down from the Premier League to League One in a couple of quick seasons, doesn't sort of set your heart racing, does it?

But then probably people are thinking that about Ali, and look how he's come in and made an impression.

So if Brown can make a similar impression, or close to it, then that would be great.

I would imagine, as I've said, we probably will see Brown if Bishop is going to be out for a couple of weeks with his ankle.

He might get the nod at number nine, mightn't he?
