Would have, you know, if somebody, if one of the other parties had suggested Tuesday, February the 3rd, I don't think anyone at Pompey would have said, oh, no, that's, you know, in advance.
I don't think anyone would have said that's the day after the transfer window ends that we might be in a state of flux.
I mean, it has thrown up all sorts of conspiracy theories for off-switch fans, hasn't it?
They want the points awarded.
They want us to have points deducted.
They want the game to be replayed.
Somebody suggested it should be now played at Ipswich because it's been postponed twice.
They're just making up their own penalties and rules, I think, for it.
And you might say that a club at championship level should be able to protect a pitch from two days of rain.
You know, there's that argument.
But as we said when the first game was called off, we don't get too many games called off here for ice or for water.
So if we were calling games off every, if we were calling three or four off a season, then maybe the league would need to get involved and say, right, you need to invest a bit more in pitch protection.
But that's not happening.
And I'm afraid Ipswich is just going to have to come down here another Tuesday night.
