McDaniels, who I haven't always loved on offense, which I think is completely fair, just a complete breakout February here. He's been lighted up scoring-wise without actually shooting it that well from three, which is actually kind of more impressive. Ant's points per possession on ISO is too low, but I still love him. Golden State, offense 16, defense 8 last year.

Ninth on offense, 15th on defense. So this team has kind of flipped their profile here. This is AB, right? Everything is AB after Butler. Six and one since the trade. In the six wins, beating teams by an average of 18 points. Since the deadline, they're fifth on offense, second in defense. Steph is at 27 a game on 49 and 38% splits with Butler.

Pajemski's plus 19, a team best plus 19 net rating since Butler. So yeah, Small sample. And will they survive small? Because the top six minutes are all smaller players. And their most minutes per game for a big right now is Quentin Post at 15 minutes a game. So it actually feels a little Lakerish. Like, wow, this is awesome. But is there enough here? I need to see more.

But I'm hoping at least to see Steph have some kind of playoff appearance just because it's more fun with Steph. Dallas. This is a bummer. Eighth on offense, 14th on defense. Last year, they were eighth on offense and 18th on defense. But remember, after the trade deadline, they were a much better team. So some of their overall numbers are kind of just pointless. I like this group a lot.

I thought they were better this year with Luka than what they were last year. The Grimes trade doesn't get talked about a lot, though. I would have put them on the Denver line. So if it's Oklahoma City with Cleveland and Boston and then that plus group, Denver, healthy Dallas with Luca, everybody coming back, the improvements off of last year, better spacing options.

Um, I would have put this team on the Denver line. I wouldn't have cared about the record at all, but this is a team that has to play small out of necessity, not preference healthy AD. I'd probably put them third behind Oklahoma city in Denver because Kyrie has been so good this year. Um, Klay's been really good.

The Najee Marshall fluke three-point shooting season last year in New Orleans is probably a fluke. Hardy's out of the rotation. Christie is good, but I thought he got hunted a lot in the last Lakers game quite a bit, even though we'd look at him as a defensive guy before he's an offensive guy. Really, I think it was just maybe a body match.
